Youths Celebrate! 2019

Watch Supertree Grove transform into an enchanting neon jungle at this year’s youth festival, Youths Celebrate! Snap pictures of neon light installations and enjoy a host of exciting programmes from movie screenings and performances to upcycling workshops. Don’t forget to drop by the neon night market for interesting offerings, and the fun zone where you get to experience games and activities amidst vivid neon lights.

Neon Jungle

  • Step into an illuminated playground at the Supertree Grove and have some outdoor fun with neon lights, as 14 neon installations depicting plants found in Gardens by the Bay will be on display. Among them are three giant neon sculptures of the cactus, venus fly trap, and daisy, each standing at 10 metres tall. Don’t forget to snap a photo with the roving LED stilt walkers if you spot them!

Upcycling Workshop: Dreamcatcher

  • Catch good thoughts and vibes on the go with our contemporary take on Dreamcatchers with a 'Tree of Life' motif. Create your own unique version of Dreamcatcher with all materials provided!

Yoga in the Gardens

Street Socials: Swinging Soles!

  • Through a series of workshops, performances, and parties, Street Socials marries partner dancing with street dance culture to create a first of its kind dance experience. Whether you are a pro looking for a new experience or getting on the dance floor for the first time with two left feet, you will be moving and grooving by the end of the day!

  • This programme is part of Got To Move, a nationwide dance movement by the National Arts Council, supported by Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY).

Nature's Playground Exhibition

  • In celebration of creative journeys, this photography exhibition is an introspective examination of how nature inspires us, and features self-portraits by ten individuals from Singapore’s film and media industry. This exhibition is presented by the 30th Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) and explores breaking creative boundaries with filmmakers Kirsten Tan and Yeo Siew Hua, writer Alfian Sa’at, media personality Danny Yeo, actresses Yeo Yann Yann, Oon Shu Ann and Fiona Xie; photographer John Clang, and musician Joanna Dong.
